8th Grade English - We also write confirmation letters to Monsignor this month!

Month of April

7th Grade - This is a busy month for us.  The students will finish the novel A Tale of Two Cities.  The students will finish their circle books and begin writing their term papers on a Greek god or goddess.  Students will also read several Greek myths and continue in Vocabulary and grammar studies.

7th grade Religion - We will write a paper on our Baptism and continue with our Chosen Program.

8th grade English - Students will read a few short stories and write C-E-A paragraphs on these stories.  Students will also begin writing their term papers on a topic concerning WWII.

Month of March

Students will present their Biography Powerpoint Reports
Students will continue to work on Vocabulary units 10-12
We will also begin our next novel - Tale of Two Cities
Students should keep a notebook with novel questions.
Students will work in pairs to create their own children's novel - called
a circle book. 
We will continue to work on the 8 parts of speech.
March is reading month and the students will need a daily silent reading
book.  Also we are collecting new or gently used books for
St. Leo's.
